MediaCoder gives you full control over transcoding parameters, has a simplified UI for popular mobile devices
such as PSP, iPhone/iPod. Also it is not dependent on system codecs/splitters.

To make MediaCoder a portable application that can be launched e.g. from USB storage, on different PCs, follow these steps:
1) Download a copy of MediaCoder and install it.
2) Start MediaCoder and on the welcome page, choose "Do not show this page on next startup". Click start MediaCoder and close the program.
3) If you don't have Firefox installed, please download and install it.
4) Create a folder named "Firefox" in MediaCoder's installation folder. Copy all files and sub-folders in Firefox's installation folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox) to the created folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\MediaCoder\Firefox).
5) Copy MediaCoder's installation folder to your USB storage or your media device storage.
Now Mediacoder is portable.
