CryptNote is a secure simple text editor.
CryptNote encrypts or decrypts text files using with the AES (Rijndael) algorithm.
It occupies only 20Kb of disk space.
Rapid tutorial of cryptnote.
Creation of an encrypted file :
1. Run the "cryptnote.exe"
2. Type your message and press the "Save" option
3. Write your passord twice and select the saving name of the file and it's location
Decrypting an encrypted file :
1. Run the "cryptnote.exe"
2. Hit the "Open" and write your passord
3. Now load the encrypted file saved before from you
CryptNote is totally self-contained, dependency-free, needs no installation and does not add or alter any file or registry settings. All these features render CryptNote portable.
Download the ZIP package and extract a folder of your choice.
Launch the program by double-clicking on "cryptnote.exe".
