Frhed is a free open source HEX editor for windows. Although Frhed is a tiny application, it packs many advanced features.

This program is originally developed by Raihan Kibria. This is an open source software and is licenced under the GNU General Public License. Frhed can edit any file, limited only by available system memory but this is not a limit, because it can load large files partially! Also it can export as hexdump to file or clipboard, search for any combination of text, binary values and compare files. There are installable and portable versions of this application. If you find a bug you can report it. There are forums and mailing lists for support.
