WinMd5Sum Portable is a user friendly MD5 sum checker that allows you to check and compare the md5 sums of files.
This program calculates the Md5 sum of a file. In order to do that, just drag and drop a file to the window, or use the browse button and click calculate. WinMd5Sum can compare MD5 sum of your downloaded file with the original. Just insert the published MD5 sum into the compare box and click compare.
This is an easy way to be sure that the downloaded file is the same with the original. That allows you to get away of troubles. For example a modified program can have a virus or a worm inside the code even if the downloaded program has the same name, icon and size!
WinMd5Sum works fine on Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP/Vista.
Download "winMd5Sum_Portable_1.0.1.55_Rev_2.paf.exe" run it in your installation folder, choose the same folder for your extracted files and run "winMd5Sum.exe".
