ESwin Samsung S.M.A.R.T utility is a diagnostic application for Samsung external HDD products.

This program can help you scan test your external drive. It can read/write LBA or random read/write LBA. If you select any menu which includes write function, a caution message is displayed. Diagnostic self test, short or extended, is also supported.
ESwin only support 1.3”, 1.8” and 2.5” of Samsung external HDD series. SMART self test does not support 1.3” and 1.8” USB, so Diagnostic menu cannot be executed in these drives. It is 2 times slower than test by PC because it is operated by USB transfer speed. (about 30MB)
Also it is recommended to back up your Data for your data protection, because the function of Write is included in this program.
